Which THCa product should I buy?

What is THCa, and is it the same as THC?

THCa (tetrahydrocannabinolic acid) is the raw form of THC that hemp and cannabis plants actually produce. THCa on its own isn't intoxicating; heat changes that. Smoking, vaping or baking triggers decarboxylation, and THCa becomes Delta-9 THC, which is why THCa flower, pre-rolls and vapes feel like regular cannabis. The difference between hemp THCa and dispensary THC is legal, not chemical: until December 10, 2026, hemp is measured by its Delta-9 THC before heating. How do you tell an online THCa shop is legit?
