What are THCA Snowballs and how are they different from regular flower?
THCa Snowballs are small compact popcorn sized buds fully coated in visible trichomes the resinous crystals carrying the cannabinoids and terpenes. Unlike a standard eighth of jarred flower, Snowballs cure more evenly, preserve trichome coverage bud to bud, and deliver more resin per gram. The Snowball format is intentional for the MEDELLIN reserve density and trichome coverage over cosmetic bag appeal.
Does THCa flower get you high?
THCa flower is not psychoactive in its raw form. When heated combusted, vaporized, or decarboxylated THCA converts to Delta 9 THC, which produces the classic effect. So a bud sitting in the jar is legally hemp (under 0.3% Delta 9 THC by dry weight) and non intoxicating; the same bud smoked or vaporized delivers a Delta 9 equivalent experience. THCa vs Delta 9 THC what's the difference?
THCa is the raw, non psychoactive precursor found in living or fresh-frozen cannabis. Delta 9 THC is the activated, psychoactive form that appears when THCa is heated. Federally, hemp derived THCa flower is legal under the 2018 Farm Bill as long as Delta 9 THC stays under 0.3% by dry weight which is exactly how MEDELLIN is grown and tested. The molecule is the same after heat; the legal status depends on what the bud measures BEFORE combustion.
Is THCA flower legal in Florida?
Yes. Hemp derived THCa flower is legal in Florida as long as it contains less than 0.3% Delta 9 THC by dry weight (2018 Farm Bill compliant).
